Misty Bryson

I entered the beauty industry in 1994 and was fortunate to be shaped early on by extraordinary mentors, Judith Lee and Gordon Nelson.

Under their guidance, and within a Vidal Sassoon–based cutting foundation, I learned that hairdressing is both discipline and art. Precision, intention, and respect for the integrity of the hair became the standard I carry to this day.

I have been so fortunate to train with so many of the very best old school Vidal Sassoon educators multiple times in my career.

For 15 years I served in education and leadership roles with Regis Corporation, including 10 years as a Regional Artistic Director and 5 years as a National Artistic Director. Those years allowed me to train extensively with global brands and world-class educators, refining my work in cutting, texture, and color while also mentoring stylists across the country. Education has never been optional for me — it is the backbone of excellence.

My specialty is precision haircutting paired with dimensional, natural color that grows out beautifully. I am not interested in pushing hair beyond what it can healthfully sustain. I believe in strong shapes, balanced color, and creating looks that feel effortless for months — not just the day you leave the salon.

In 2023 I returned home to Springfield in to join longtime friends here at Blush Studio, while continuing to care for a small group of clients in Hawaii every other month. I’ve been honored to reconnect with guests I first served decades ago — some as many as 30 years ago. That kind of continuity is one of the greatest privileges of this profession.

At the heart of it all, I care deeply about the health of your hair and how you feel when you look at the crown that is your hair. I look forward to welcoming you to my chair.
